**COVID-19 UPDATE - 10/14/2020

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the Rock Island County Metropolitan Mass Transit District has rescheduled the location of the remainder of the Board of Trustees meetings for the year 2020 from 1515 River Drive, Moline, IL to Centre Station, 1200 River Drive, Moline, IL. The meeting will be held at its regularly scheduled time of 1 p.m. and will be open to the public in accordance with Governor J.B. Pritzker’s Proclamations and Executive Orders related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Open Meetings Act.  While remote attendance is encouraged, it is expected that in-person attendance will consist of the following:  Chairperson of the Board (or other Trustee-Designee), members of the staff helpful to the presentation of the Agenda items, and personnel assisting with the meeting presentation.  As to all persons who choose to be physically present in the meeting room, such attendance shall be subject to the following:  a meeting room will be provided at the above address, with the meeting room arranged to accommodate the lesser of 25 persons or 25% room capacity.   Additional requirements (including face coverings and social distancing) will be applied per guidance from the Illinois Department of Public Health.  To the extent in-person attendance appears to exceed the limits under Governor Pritzker Orders, some attendees will be asked to wait in another room with a live feed to the meeting until the agenda item for which the person or persons would like to speak on is being discussed or until the open floor for public comments. Overview


In accordance with Illinois State Statutes, a board of 5 trustees governs MetroLINK. The mayors of the five principal municipalities within MetroLINK’s district boundaries appoint the trustees separately for a four-year term. The five municipalities include the Cities of East Moline, Moline, Rock Island, and Silvis, and the Village of Milan.
