Celebrate Safely with Metro on New Year's Eve

MetroLINK is pleased to announce the availability of free late-night Metro service on Sunday, December 31, 2017 to accommodate New Year’s Eve festivities in the Illinois Quad Cities. The free service will include two buses operating a Route 10 Express between downtown Rock Island, the Augustana campus, and downtown Moline from 7:00 PM – 3:00 AM. All fixed routes will operate regular schedule with standard fares throughout the day.  

Riders can visit MetroLINK’s website at www.metroQC.com/NYE or Metro’s facebook page “Metro IL Quad Cities” for a map and schedule of New Year’s Eve service. Additional information is available by contacting Metro customer service at (309)788-3360.

In observance of the New Year’s Holiday, Metro’s fixed route bus service will not operate on Monday, January 1, 2018.  Regular routes will resume Tuesday, January 2.
